Enhanced Training Support for SMEs

The enhanced funding is to encourage SMEs to send their employees for training.

Course Fee and Absentee Payroll Funding are available for employers who sponsor employees for training.

Applicable when companies sponsor employees who are above 35 years old and earning not more than S$1,900 per month for training.

The enhanced funding is to encourage SMEs to send their employees for training. This was based on feedback from SMEs and industry associations who identified training and upgrading as a key area where they hoped to receive Government support

The SkillsFuture Employer Awards provides recognition to employers who support the SkillsFuture effort and make an exemplary effort in the training and development of employees through structured skills-based career pathways.

With up to 90% funding support from WDA, SMEs will only be required to pay the 10% nett fee portion of the respective SME and PMET workshop course fees

The SkillsFuture Employer Awards provides recognition to employers who support the SkillsFuture effort and make an exemplary effort in the training and development of employees through structured skills-based career pathways.

This programme develops individuals with deep skills expertise or mastery in growth and priority sectors. It will also sponsor a range of education and training options, in both craft-based and knowledge-based areas. S$10,000 cash will be given to up to 100 individuals with deep skills expertise to recognise their skills and enable them to achieve mastery in their respective fields.
