The Training Quality and Outcomes Measurement (TRAQOM) initiative is developed by SkillsFuture Singapore to raise the quality of SSG-funded Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes. There are two main features: the training quality and outcomes ratings and the community feedback.
This will help learners make more informed decisions and training providers improve their course offerings through the publication of quality and outcomes ratings on MySkillsFuture’s Training Exchange.
There are two types of post-course evaluation surveys which learners will receive upon completion of training:
i) Quality survey: Issued to trainees on the last day of the course, it measures trainees’ satisfaction towards the training delivery and resources, learning attainment and customer service of the training provider.
ii) Outcomes survey: Issued to trainees at least six months after the course has ended, it measures whether trainees are able to apply the learning at work, perform better at work and gain an expanded job scope.
The community feedback feature is available on each course page on the Training Exchange. Individuals can indicate their like/dislike for a course as well as post their comments on the course.
Individuals can view the quality and outcomes ratings given by other learners on the course page and training provider’s page. This allows a comparison of ratings across courses to help individuals make an informed decision when selecting a course or training provider. Through the community feedback feature, individuals can also view what others have to say about the course.
The survey will be rolled out progressively to all SSG-funded courses on Training Exchange by mid-2019.
