10 New Work-Study Programmes to be launched this year, including courses in Growth Economies

The Polytechnics, supported by SkillsFuture Singapore, have launched 10 new Work-Study Programmes this year.
The Polytechnics, supported by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), have launched 10 new Work-Study Programmes this year. This was announced by Second Minister for Education, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, at the annual SkillsFuture Work-Study Fair today, which is part of the SkillsFuture Festival.
With the theme “Go for the Win with the Work-Study Programme”, this year’s Fair, organised by Republic Polytechnic in collaboration with other polytechnics and Institute of Technical Education, seeks to connect students and fresh graduates with industry partners and participating employers for potential career opportunities.
More Opportunities Under SkillsFuture Work-Study Programmes
More than 13,000 participants and over 3,000 companies have benefitted from SkillsFuture Work-Study Programmes since it commenced in 2015. To further expand work-study opportunities for Singaporeans, SSG is working closely with IHLs and industry partners to introduce new SkillsFuture Work-Study Programmes in emerging and growth sectors, with active support from companies.
The 10 new Work-Study Programmes will include courses in the growing Digital, Green, and Care economies. The programmes are as follows:

This year’s Work-Study Fair, featuring both physical and virtual segments such as exhibition booths, fireside chats, and webinars, was attended by over 1,800 participants.
