Fifteen Graduates of Continuing Education and Training Programmes from the Five Polytechnics Honoured with Inaugural Skillsfuture Lifelong Learning Awards
4 May 2026
Fifteen graduates from Continuing Education and Training programmes across the five polytechnics have been awarded the inaugural SkillsFuture Lifelong Learning Awards in recognition of their dedication and commitment to lifelong learning, as well as their contribution towards skills development in their work, social and learning communities.
Awarded by the five polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), in support of the SkillsFuture movement, the SkillsFuture Lifelong Learning Awards recognise up to three exemplary graduates of Continuing Education and Training programmes who exemplify the lifelong learning spirit from each educational institution. The award recognises individuals who have actively pursued lifelong learning, and have purposefully applied their learnings to make a positive impact beyond themselves at their workplace or immediate social networks.
Recipients of the SkillsFuture Lifelong Learning Awards will each receive a monetary award of $1,000. The award will be presented by the polytechnics at their respective graduation ceremonies, with the first group of recipients being honoured at the graduation ceremonies of Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic today. The list of SkillsFuture Lifelong Learning Awards recipients from ITE will be announced at ITE’s graduation ceremony at a later date. Please refer to Annex A for the list of recipients across the five polytechnics.
Mr Tan Kok Yam, Chief Executive of SkillsFuture Singapore, said: “I commend the recipients of the inaugural SkillsFuture Lifelong Learning Awards for their dedication to lifelong learning and their commitment to skills development. These awardees are role models who not only embrace the spirit of upskilling, but also inspire others in their workplaces and communities to do the same. We are also grateful to ITE and the polytechnics for this meaningful initiative, and for their steadfast support of the SkillsFuture movement.”
