Whistleblowing
Report any irregularities or wrongdoings through our whistleblowing channels
SSG aims to provide a trusted channel through which public can report in good faith, about possible wrongdoing or irregularities regarding SSG approved training organisations, employers, vendors, suppliers, contractors or any other matters.
Types of wrongdoing include but are not limited to the following:
(a) Criminal offences (such as fraud, corruption or theft);
(b) Misappropriation of funds/grants/classified documents;
(c) Disclosure of confidential and sensitive information to outside parties;
(d) Breaches of legal obligation or statute (including negligence, breach of contract and breaches of Acts);
(e) Collusion for financial gain;
(f) Abuse and misrepresentation of power and authority;
(g) Discrimination on the basis of gender, race and disabilities;
(h) Harassment or intimidation;
(i) Gross negligence of duty, acts against public interest or detrimental to the organisation’s interest and image; and
(j) Improper conduct or unethical behaviour.
We encourage all parties who report such wrongdoing or irregularities to provide their name and contact details, as appropriate follow-up clarification and investigations may not be able to be carried out if the source of information could not be identified. Concerns raised anonymously shall be considered at the discretion of SSG, after taking into consideration the seriousness of the concern, its credibility and the extent to which the concern can be confirmed.
All concerns will be treated sensitively and where possible in the strictest confidence, although in some cases SSG may be legally required to disclose the information. SSG will respond to you acknowledging that the concern raised has been received, however we will not be able to provide update on the status or outcome of the case.

To enable SSG to effectively investigate your concerns, the following information should be provided, where possible:
Your name and contact information;
Details of person(s)/company(ies)/Training Provider(s)/Private Education Institution(s) involved in the allegation. (Please provide the full name, place of employment, job title, company name and UEN if available)
Your relationship with the reported person(s)/company(ies)/training provider(s)/private education institution(s);
Detailed description of the incident(s) (including date, time, location, methods and action/ behaviour, details of course attended if applicable);
Period of time the wrongdoing had been perpetuated;
If any other SSG staff had been informed, please provide the notification date and contact information of the person notified; and
Physical or material evidence, and any other information which may substantiate the incident(s).
